Goodwill OVERpriced -- Now KNOW why!

Have you noticed that goodwill is overpricing the furniture, paintings and other bigger items?

Yesterday there was a SMALL black table, nothing special but it was priced $65... Many people can NOT afford it, I can but I won't buy a used item with dings and paint missing for that much money.

This is the kicker... maybe why they charge so much... The District Manager for Goodwill makes $94k a year. YEP! My friend applied to the job opening.. if the dm makes that much, how much does the store manager make? And you know that employees at the store make minimum wage.

EVERYTHING is DONATED there!!!! The prices should NOT be that high.  But now knowing that the DM makes that MUCH money, the high prices are ALL for the upper management.

That is OUTRAGEOUS, this is suppose to help people get a job... not make the rich richer.

Recession - no we are not

We are not in a recession -- it is because of the stupid ass flex rate for mortgages... Everything was fine, even with the war, as soon as the banks got bought and people have lost thier homes. Everything went down hill from thier.

Every day at work I see RICH people, always buying... always with the huge diamonds.. Yesterday a billionaire sent his workers to my work and spent thousands... His name will be left unknown, but he is a candy founder. His guest house, GUEST house is 26k sq feet.

Yesterday, can't remember if it was the grandfather or father, but his family is the pitcher of the Tampa Bay Rays. I wasn't too excited but my co-workers were. But he was soooooo nice and very understanding that i didn't know who the pitcher was.

Again, most people still have money... One customer of mine, just bought a hummer...  its all the banks fault.
